Follow his life story from his childhood years in Westminster, Massachusetts, to his early days in Northfield, and his travels throughout the Pioneer Valley, the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and the Western Territories. Learn of his travels abroad to Pont-Aven, France, and subsequent years living and painting in Boston among the elite artists of the day. View his many seascapes while summering in Manchester-by-the-Sea and his historical paintings of Lookout Mountain while wintering in Tennessee. Finally, return with him to Princeton, Massachusetts where he lived the last forty years of his life capturing local scenes, including those of his favorite subjects, Mt. Wachusett and Mt. Monadnock.

In addition to being an artist, Gamaliel Waldo Beaman maintained a life long interest in antiques and collectibles and became a well known and respected antiquarian and antique dealer.
